The EEGO's Procedures Manual sets out the process for joining the EEGO System. Registration is done electronically through the EEGO System, by following the steps required by the enrolment process. All participants must previously have entered into a joining agreement with the EEGO, undertaking to meet the requirements set out in the EEGO's Procedures Manual, as well as all of the applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
In order to import and export guarantees of origin under the European Energy Certificate System (EECS), participants must also accept the rules and obligations set out by the Association of Issuing Bodies (AIB), including the so-called "Standard Terms and Conditions between the AIB Hub Participant and the Market Participant".
The tariffs applicable to the services provided by the EEGO are set out in an order issued by the member of the government responsible for energy, pursuant to Article 13, paragraph 3, of Decree-Law 141/2010 of 31 December.
